I had been searching for a comfortable flat boot with a flexible sole for some time, so I was happy to spot these. Following the advice of previous reviewers, I purchased a half size larger than my usual size 8 in the chocolate brown colorway. This was good advice. The boots were extremely comfortable when worn with thin tights or trouser socks; adding thicker sweater tights or knee-high socks made these boots a bit tight, but not terribly uncomfortable. I plan to keep them since they are insulated and warm. Plus they look so modern and urban! I like the angled top of the shaft and the elastic panel, which makes them a bit different than a standard boot. And the leather is really supple. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend these boots
